“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, And that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.” Dr. Seuss

As a firm believer in the absurd and whimsical, I hold Dr. Seuss up as one of my heros. I remember going to La Jolla, CA as a young teen in the 70’s and we drove past the home of Theodor Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss and the coincidences don’t stop there. In his book Horton Hears A Who, the very first sentence “On the fifteenth of May, in the jungle of Nool, . . .” has my birthday in it, which I didn’t notice until I was reading to my own children. if that isn’t enough Seuss’s own birthday is March 2, 1904, while my first child was born March 2, 1994. Well like I said before, it is the little things for me, a little cosmic wink when I look back on my life. Lisa, Rabbit Hole Dweller
